THe silly season and eBay

So the lady in my life tells me that if she's not getting an engagement ring for x-mas, then she wants an iPod. WhicH is fyne by me (fyne, not fine), since I'm still saVing for the one she'll eventually get (Which may t@ke a while since you can't partner a custom engagement ring a mass produced wedding band-though she assures me that any ring'll do; I want something unique).
So I've been looking on ebay for an iPod (since eBay's all about bargains right?). It's disturbing to see all the auctions I've lost, where the winning bidder is only a few bucks off paying full retail price. I just can't get my head around it. Sure you might save a few dollars, but if you're willing to go that high, why not get off your arse and go buy one from a reputable retail chain? Surely the peice of mind would be worth it. Like no hassles with warranties; oh and let's not forget the convience of having it in your hands there and then against the uncertainty of wondering if you're the sucka that's just added to some scumbag's x-mas cheer while you anxiously check the post every frakin day til it arrives or, after 14 days, you decide it's time to e-mail them (only to find that they're banned from ebay and email to their hotmail address is returned as undelivered (due to the 1GB limit being filled by 100 other angry suckas).
I know that I could go and buy one from K-mart, but I've bills to pay, got other things to save for (the rings to stop the nagging about marriage-which will undoubtly start the nagging about babies, hence why the saving for special rings /anything to delay the nagging about having babies/ ) and things to buy (namely a washing machine that doesn't flood the laundry every time I do a full load). And I guess if I've got these sorts of things to think about, then surely so does everyone else. And if you've got $400 bucks to spend on an iPod, why are you trying to buy one on eBay? Is the silly season really making you that silly?

And as you've probably guessed, I still don't know where I'm going with this Bl*g. But I do suspect that I'm the only person who reads it......................

The Forum is almost worthy of being a deadlink. Since it crashed in july/september, membership has slowed down. Seems the most active part of the forum is the Ad*b3 requests (ph*t*$h0p and drAEmweaver). Apart from Bahrin, Smooth, Genisis and some of the regulars posting in other areas, there's not that much going on. Still getting the odd nu-bee post introductions along the lines of "hey this place is great. Wish i could do sumthin to contribute", then is never heard from again. Totally P!ssweak attitude. I've said it, as has Bahrin and the other mods, you don't have to be a cr*cker to contribute to the forum. The artistic side of the Forum has grown to include areas for posting art and creative writting.

For something that will only cost you time, you can post something that many will enjoy.

So now I have a blog (whatever that is)!? Guess that's what hapens when you randomly click things on pages you probably should've had translated into your native language. And all because the link to the album kept coming up with "The page cannot be displayed" message (I thought I'd see what was in the 'other links to this post'.
So what to do with the 'blog'. Well it's called Chronos/deadlink, so maybe I'll devote some of it to all things goth/witchy/spooky. ...

In the mean time, I suggest you pop over to:
